What we won.
We were honoured to be named winners of the Mental Wellbeing category at the ClubsNSW Clubs & Community Awards – one of the highest honours in the NSW club industry.
The award recognises innovative programs and partnerships that improve the mental wellbeing of members, patrons, and the wider community. We were recognised for our partnership with Healthier Illawarra Men and our support of Tomorrow Man’s Breaking the Man Code workshops across the Illawarra.
With more than 160 finalists across 10 categories, the Clubs & Community Awards celebrate the outstanding impact clubs have on communities throughout New South Wales. Selected from 17 finalists in the Mental Wellbeing category, this recognition reflects the strength of our partnership with Healthier Illawarra Men and our shared commitment to improving the lives of local men and boys.
Changing the conversation.
At The Shellharbour Club, we’re committed to helping our community reach its highest potential. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Healthier Illawarra Men to support the health and wellbeing of men and boys across our region.
Together, we’ve helped deliver Tomorrow Man’s Breaking the Man Code workshops – a powerful program that encourages boys and young men to challenge outdated stereotypes, build resilience and have honest conversations about mental health.
Over the past two years, we’ve contributed $90,000 through ClubGRANTS funding, helping deliver more than 60 workshops and reach over 1,600 young men across schools, sporting clubs, and community organisations throughout the Illawarra.
But our support extends beyond funding. Through facilities, operational support and active involvement, we’re helping create a future where young men feel empowered to speak openly, seek support and look out for one another.
Together, we’re building stronger conversations, stronger connections, and a stronger community.

The Clubs & Community Awards are the NSW club industry’s highest recognition of community impact. Presented annually by ClubsNSW, the awards celebrate outstanding programs and partnerships that create meaningful change across communities throughout New South Wales.
